This is the old website. Save Our Cumberland is now the Cumberland Community Events Center
Albany's Historic Cumberland Church, also known as the Main Street Church was built in the Queen Anne Style in 1892. Listed on the Local Historic Registry, it is eligible for the National Historic Register.
Today the church is owned by the City of Albany, and has been unused for many years and is starting to show signs of neglect.
We are a group of citizens with a vision of moving the church and restoring it as a Community Event Center. The church still has solid bones, and with your help, we can make Albany's next Community Event Center a reality.
